The team is managed by RFU & first aid qualified coaches. Several of the coaches are current or ex players within our senior teams meaing we have vast knowledge of playing at a high level.

We pride ourselves on creating an environment where the needs of the player are put first and every player can develop to the very best of their ability. We strive to provide a growing community-based and financially sound rugby club, offering first class sports, leisure and social facilities to the communities of Bishops Cleeve and surrounding areas.

When?

The playing season runs from the 1st Sunday in September through to the 2nd Sunday in May. There will be training or fixtures every Sunday morning (weather and pitch conditions permitting) except during Christmas and Easter. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings between Noon and 2 but we also run flexible sessions on Saturdays

Where?

Stoke Orchard Road, Bishops Cleeve free parking is available on-site.

How to join?

We offer free taster sessions for the first 3 weeks - so simply come along and see how your child enjoys playing rugby. Membership can be bought and signed up for via our online portal while the club membership secretary or your team coaches will be able to take you through the membership process.

You'll also find our forms on this website if you wish to pay in cash at the club Cheltenham North RFC - Joining The Club (rfu.club). This will need to be printed and handed in to the club.

What to bring?

A water bottle and appropriate sportswear. Footwear should be studded rugby (or football) boots. CNRFC strongly recommend using a gumshield in contact training and during matches. If you are asthmatic, an inhaler must be brought along to every session. Rugby is a winter sport so waterproofs and warm clothing should be considered! Muddy kit and boots are not allowed in the Clubhouse, so it would be a good idea to have a kit bag with a clean change of clothes.

Dogs?

As CNRFC is primarily a sports club, our policy is strictly no dogs on the pitches . Please respect our policy when you visit our facilities.
