Cheltenham North RFC hopes everyone is safe and well.

While the pandemic and lack of rugby wait is beginning to show an end point the club have been busy behind the scenes becoming a new partner club involved in the Diverse Sports movement.

Diverse Sport is a company that offers Mixed ability rugby which takes an innovative approach to breaking down barriers as many people still face significant barriers to participating in mainstream sports through, age, gender, disability, background, size or the fear of not being good enough. Diverse help provide a playing structure for everyone in the community that is safe and welcoming. While being fun and inclusive. Mixed ability has different elements from juniors through to seniors involving full, partial and non contact making it perfect for players with and without difficulties, disabilities or complete novices that want to learn rugby in a safe environment.

This innovative way of brinign rugby and excercise will allow both young and old to re engage with excercise and the club community.

The club are confident this will be a great partnership that will directly impact the community in a positive manner and with streghten the clubs plans to become a wider community hub.

The Diverse Sports team has over 15 years experience with getting participants involved in grassroot clubs.

The sessions are between 4-5pm on a Tuesday and will start the first week in January 2021 - It is £4 per session but the first one if free as a taster.
